Beursschouwburg

It was a great experience to be part of the Beursschouwburg competition. While we weren’t selected as finalists, we truly enjoyed the process of reinterpreting the brief and developing a vision for this cultural hub, which is so close to our hearts in the heart of Brussels.

We believe that the layering of the various programs within the building is rich and should be reconsidered. In our view, the solution lies in reprogramming the different floors, rather than making major architectural alterations. For example, a nightclub belongs in the basement, not on the roof. This, we believe, is the key.
